1st Congressional District Candidates' Forum. The League of Women Voters of Bucks County and the Bucks County Chambers of Commerce will be co-hosting a candidates' forum for Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional district with Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick and challenger Scott Wallace, Democrat. The forum is open to the public and will address issues of national and local importance. The 1st Congressional District is comprised of Bucks County and a portion of Montgomery County. As part of their "Election 2018" coverage, Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) will be providing free, unedited coverage of the Friday, October 19th 1st Congressional Candidates Forum from Delaware Valley University. The forum, which runs from 8-9:30 AM, can be streamed live and viewed on demand. Visit https://pcntv.com to watch the live stream at 8 AM on October 19. Look for a promotion of the event on the home page, or click on "Schedule" and look for the event in the day's listing. To view it later, look for the video under "Recent Videos". The Bucks County Courier Times will be filming the forum as well and sharing it through their website, http://www.buckscountycouriertimes.com. Check their website for details.

143 PA House District. Candidates Joe Flood (R) and Wendy Ullman (D) will participate in a Candidates Forum hosted and moderated by the League of Women Voters of Bucks County. Representative Marguerite Quinn (R), currently representing the residents of the 143rd District, is leaving the office at the end of the term as she runs for state Senate. Voters are reminded they can check their voter status, apply for an absentee ballot and access much more at the official Pennsylvania Government Website, http://www.VotesPA.com . From the League of Women Voters Education Fund website Vote411.org, voters can find candidate-submitted profiles and position statements; they can see the races on their ballots as well as compare the candidates side-by-side.

The League of Women Voters of Bucks County and the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce are pleased to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the candidates running for the 144th Pennsylvania House District. Candidates Meredith Buck (D) and Todd Polinchock (R) are running for the seat currently occupied by Representative Katherine M. Watson. Representative Watson is retiring at the end of this term. The 144th Pennsylvania House of Representatives District is located in Bucks County and includes Silverdale, Hilltown Twp., Chalfont, Dublin, Telford (Bucks County portion), New Britain, New Britain Twp. and Warrington Township.
